Joe was the son of the late Leon and Christine Vaughn of Coffeeville, MS. He was owner of Smallwood’s Custom Trailers after a successful auto service business since 1989. He was a former supervisor at Porter Cable Power Tools in Jackson. He was an avid car and truck collector.
Joe is survived by his wife of 52 years, Pat Vaughn; his son, William Shane Vaughn, Jackson, TN; his granddaughter, Heather Paige Vaughn of Nashville ,TN; and one sister, Barbara Brower of Coffeeville, MS.
Visitation will be Thursday, 10-26-2017 12 p.m. – 2p.m. with a Funeral service to begin at 2 p.m. in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. Randy Carter will officiate the service.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Roberts, Jimmy Collums, Ronny Brower, Rayford Collins, Brian House, Dave Gibson. Honorary Pallbearers are Don Watson and Bill Thompson
