

Agnes was born on April 9th, 1963, to Telamence Jules Gede and Gedeon Gede in Bassin-Bleu, Port-de-Paix Haiti. After Agnes completed her secondary schooling in Haiti. She moved to The United States of America. Where she went on to study Nursing.
In the fall of 1984 Agnes met Yvon Dorelien at a church concert where they were both set to perform with their respective chorus groups. After the concert while standing outside, Yvon saw her pass by, and he approached her. By 1985 they were dating and inseparable and then married shortly thereafter. They Went on to have 4 children, Berlyne Chantal, Yvner Pedro, Nervenson Daniel, and Brianna Alexis. Agnes has two granddaughters, Ellie Rae Aniece and Kennedy Elizabeth.
Agnes spent her time gardening and thrifting for treasures. She had the most impressive green thumb. Her most precious pastime however was vacationing with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Agnes was predeceased by father Gédéon Gédé, mother Télamence Gédé(Jules), and sister Rozanne Alcidonis.
Agnes is survived by her husband Yvon Dorelien
Her children Berlyne (Derrick) Elme, Yvner Dorelien, Nervenson Dorelien, and Brianna Dorelien.

A visitation for Agnes will be held Friday, October 25, 2024 at 6:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel. A funeral service will occur Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Southside Church of God in Christ, 2179 Emerson St, Jacksonville, FL 32207. A committal service will occur Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Oaklawn Cemetery.
