Prior to retirement she was a Medical Assistant for many years.
She was a long time member of Peace Presbyterian Church, Jacksonville, Florida.
During WWII she served in the Women’s Land Army in England.
She was pre-deceased by her son Louie Henderson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Louis Henderson, one son, Jim Henderson of Middleburg, Florida and daughter Mary Henderson of Jacksonville.
A visitation will be held on Sunday March 15, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 7;00 PM in the St. Nicholas room at Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, Florida 32207. A Funeral Service will be on Monday March 16, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Peace Presbyterian Church, 2300 Southside Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32216 with rev Clayton Turner officiating.
Interment will be private at the Greenlawn Cemetery.
