Albert Bascelli, Jr.

Al was born October 14, 1942 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, the son of Albert Sr. and stepson of Jean (Rossi) Bascelli. He served in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. After the Air Force he graduated from Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He retired after many years of service from Bell South in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a member of San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church in Saint Johns, Florida.

He is survived by his mother Jean, his wife of 48 years Lynn (McCormick) Bascelli, his son Brandon Bascelli (Heather), and twin daughters Kara Jahnigen (Rob) and Dana Bascelli, his brothers Louis Bascelli (Jennifer) and Larry Bascelli (Brenda) and his sister Julianne. His brothers and sister reside in Cumberland, Maryland. He was blessed with six grandchildren, Bailey Olguin, Roman, Aiden. Olivia and Lorelei Bascelli and Charlotte Jahnigen. He is survived by many nieces and nephews both in Florida and Maryland. His other sister and brother Bettey and Floyd Hostetter were family as well. He leaves behind many cherished friends both in his neighborhoods and in the phone company. He lives on in our hearts.
