Albert Frank Eisenmenger, 73, passed away on Sunday, January 17th 2016 in Jacksonville, FL. He was a native of New York City, NY. Albert proudly served for 28 years in the United States Navy retiring as a Chief in 1991. He then went on to serve his country for 19 more years as a civilian contractor for the Navy and retired for a 2nd time in 2010. Albert was a devoted family man, who loved to travel abroad with his wife Dorothy. He held a lifelong respect for all animals, great or small, and was a supporter of the ASPCA. Albert is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Johanna Eisenmenger; a most beloved older sister, Ella Eisenmenger and son, Robin C Burns. Left to cherish his memory are; Dorothy J Eisenmenger, his wife and companion of 39 years; sister, Joan Raup (William) of Baltimore; his nephews, Eric, Charles and Peter Raup; daughter, Helen Huguet (Timothy) of Pass Christian, MS; grandson, Shawn A Hurley of Jacksonville, FL; two granddaughters Sarah Wade (Steven) of Jacksonville, NC and Cheyenne Huguet (Grandpa affectionately knew her as Sasha) of Pass Christian, MS, and a great granddaughter, Abygail Rose Wade of Jacksonville, NC. A Celebration of Albert’s Life will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on Monday, January 25th in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin, followed by interment at 1:00 p.m. in Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd.
