Albert L. Stettner Jr.

Albert L. Stettner, Jr., 57, of St. Johns, FL passed away on November 4, 2012. Born in Miami, FL to Albert L. and Consuela Perez Stettner, Al was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. A veteran of the US Army, Al was a Corrections Deputy with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office. He was a member of San Juan del Rio Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. Al achieved the distinguished honor of achievement as an Eagle Scout and was a proud NRA member. Preceded in death by his father, he is survived by his devoted wife, Cindy A. Stettner; mother, Consuela “Connie” Stettner; children, Alex Stettner, Ben Stettner, and Stephanie Stettner; brothers, Mike Stettner (Eva) and Eric Stettner (Stacie); sister, Diana Rodriguez (Tony); along with many other family members and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 13th in San Juan del Rio Catholic Church, 1718 SR 13 North, Saint Johns, FL 32259 with Father John Tetlow as Celebrant, followed by interment in Jacksonville National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Memorial contributions in Al’s name may be made to The St. John’s Sheriff’s Office Four Star Association, Inc., 4015 Lewis Speedway, St. Augustine, FL 32084.
