Alex was known as a free-spirited, genuine, handsome, kind-hearted, and good-humored friend to most everyone. When facing adversity, his mother would often ask Alex, “Who’s got it better than us?” and Alex would shout, “Nobody!” As a young child, Alex was quite curious and maintained his adventurous spirit through young-adulthood. Alex loved playing basketball at Burnett Park in his neighborhood of Mandarin, FL. Alex was gifted with the ability to put people at ease by making them laugh. He had enormous empathy, which was known to those closest to him. He is remembered as a beautiful soul. Alex was especially adored by his dogs, Boo and Dixie and loved all animals.
Alex is survived by his mother, Jennifer Dennis; maternal grandmother, Veronica Weiss Soniat; maternal grandfather, Stephen Robertson; father, Gregory Dennis and paternal grandfather, James Dennis. Alex is predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Brenda Dennis.
Family and friends will celebrate Alex's life on Saturday, March 30 at 3 p.m. in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
