TYNDALL, Alexander (Alex) Peace Tyndall, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL, on Thursday, July 25th, 2019 , with family by his side after a brave fight with cancer. A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held at Ortega United Methodist Church on August 17th at 11am. Dress is casual. Alex was born in Jacksonville, FL on March 12th, 1987. He graduated from Paxon School of Advanced Studies in 2005 and received his BA in Political Science from the University of North Florida in 2009. He also received an MPA from UNF in 2012. During his time at UNF, in the summer of 2009, Alex interned for the Project on National Security Reform in Washington D.C. He then went on to intern for Senators George LeMieux and Marco Rubio. After college, he took a job with Goodwill Industries of North Florida and then with Adams Remco. Alex was devoted to his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Carl and Joyce Stoudemire and Bruce and Martha Tyndall. He is survived by his mother, Cameron Stoudemire Tyndall, father, John Lawrence Tyndall, and brother, Jack Tyndall. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made to the Lymphoma Research Foundation at lymphoma.org/aboutlymphoma/nhl/burkitt/.
