Alton Ray Keith

He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Shirley Ann Gerdin Keith, his son David Ray Keith, his daughter Vicky Ann Dossabhoy, as well as 4 brothers and 5 sisters.

Alton is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy Luttrell Holt Keith, his son Donald Keith and wife Linda, his son-in-law Cyris Dossabhoy and his Grandsons Tyler Dossabhoy and Jarad Dossabhoy and wife, Anna. He is also survived by many stepchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and special extended family members whom he considered his “adopted children,” as well as many dear friends.

Alton proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years before beginning his career as a skilled “jack of all trades.” He had a servant ‘s heart which was demonstrated in many ways including his love of helping others, part of which was his volunteer work at the Viola Baptist Church in Columbia, Tennessee.

Graveside Military Honors services will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 10 a.m., at Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Cemetery located at 4300 Beach Blvd in Jacksonville, Florida. A Celebration of Life will be held at Viola Baptist Church in Columbia, Tennessee at a later date.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
