LOPEZ - Amado Lopez, 59, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 at his home. A native of Manhattan, NY, Mr. Lopez had retired as a Correctional Officer. His surviving family includes: his 2 daughters, Elizabeth McCoy and Amanda Alfonso;; a son, Jonathon Isaac Lopez; 3 sisters, Noelia Lopez, Christina Perez and Pricilla Rivera; a brother, Steven Perez; 4 grandchildren, Daniel, Jade, Kaylin and Bailey and several nieces and nephews whom he loved very much including a special nephew, Tony, who called him every day. Funeral services for Mr. Lopez will be held Saturday, March 26th at 3:00PM in the chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave. His family will receive friends at the funeral home after the service until 6:00 PM.
