Our sweet daughter, Amy Kathleen Esque, went peacefully to dwell with our Lord on Tuesday, October 9, 2012, surrounded by her family. She was born August 17, 1973 in Jacksonville, Florida to Rolland and Deborah Esque. She lived most of her life in Oklahoma, attended Wickline Methodist Church in Midwest City, graduated from Midwest City High School in 1991, attended Oklahoma State University, and taught AutoCAD at Oklahoma State University Tech in Oklahoma City. Amy relocated to Florida in 2002 and began her banking career with JP Morgan Chase in 2006. Amy was an avid sports fan (hockey, football, golf) and a lifetime commitment to the Girl Scouts of America and her troop 549 gave her many hours of pleasure. She loved the banking business and her work family. Amy had no regrets in her life and always encouraged her family and friends to move forward with courage and determination. She will be remembered as a determined, loving, generous and kind soul who was devoted her to faith, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bernard and Phyllis Orr, and her paternal grandparents, Carmel and Hazel Esque. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Rolland (RC) and Deborah Esque; brothers, Brian (Rebecca) and C. Michael (Kimberly) Esque; nieces, her Little People, Kendall, Parker, and Olivia Esque; her Uncle Bub and Aunt Jeanette Esque; Grandfather Lloyd (Paw-Paw) Ellis and her many cousins. A celebration of life for family and friends will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2012 in The Oaklawn Chapel. Family friend Wendell Smith will lead the service. Donations can be made in her memory to the Acosta-Rua Center Community Hospice of NE Florida, 5450 Ramona Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32205. HARDAGE-GIDDENS, THE OAKLAWN CHAPEL, 4801 San Jose Boulevard is serving the family. Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.HardageGiddensOaklawnChapel.com
