Angharad Jones

Angharad Jones, a devoted mother, grandmother, beloved wife and steadfast woman of faith, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2024 at the age of 81. Born on February 14, 1943, in Philadelphia, PA, to William and Marjorie Musterman, in 1961, Angharad married William P. Jones with whom she shared 56 years of marriage until his passing in 2017. Angharad had a fulfilling career in the petroleum engineering department at Standford University where she was known for her integrity and dedication.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, she was a woman of unwavering faith. Her deep faith, optimism and unyielding love for her family is what has defined her. She was a cherished Sunday school teacher, neighbor and friend, always ready to give a helping hand, a spare room, a kind word or just a listening ear. Angharad’s life was a beautiful reflection of love, devotion and service to others. While Angharad will be deeply missed, her faith assures us that one day we will be reunited with her in Heaven. She will be our forever, Valentine.

Angharad is survived by her six daughters, six sons-in-law, sixteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren and one sister.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223 at 11:00 am with a light reception to follow.
