Ann Craft Council (1934 - 2025) of Jacksonville, FL, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 30, 2025. Ann was born in Chapel Hill, NC to Thurman R. Craft, Sr. and Pearl B. Craft. She graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, and taught for many years before moving into retail management. She enjoyed being with her family and friends, traveling and gardening.
In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband of fifty four years, Joseph B. Council and son Michael Council. Ann is survived by her loving family; daughter JoAnn Duncan, husband Bernard Duncan, and grandson Toby Chambers; daughter Marcia Carangelo, husband Richard Carangelo, granddaughter Holly Meredith, husband Ian Meredith, and grandson A.J. Carangelo; brother Thurman R. Craft, Jr., nieces Monica McLean Craft and Meredith Petit.
