FRANKLIN- Ann Marie Franklin, 57, went home to her Lord on Sunday, June 2, 2013. She was born in Findlay, OH on April 28, 1956 to her parents Carl (deceased) and Betty Smith. She is survived by brothers LeEdwin (Cindy) and Mark (Phyllis Ann), along with her husband of 33 years, Stephen, and their children Chase, Sydney, and Gus. Also, her horse Scooter and dog Murphy. Ann lived for her faith, family and later in life, her horses. You only had to meet Ann once to know she was a special person. Friendships were very important to her; starting with the operating room nurses she worked with at Baptist, neighbors in The Woods and Cove St Johns, the cabin girls, parishioners at Christ the King, teachers and parents at CTK School and Hendricks Day School and most recently her riding partners. A Memorial Mass for Ann will be celebrated 12:00 Noon Saturday, June 8, at Christ the King Catholic Church with Fr. Steven Zehler, Celebrant followed by a luncheon in celebration of Ann's life. Committal services at Arlington Park Cemetery will be private. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 7, at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. In lieu of flowers Ann has asked that donations be made to Northeast Florida Community Hospice (www.communityhospice.com) or Garden of The Pascal Mystery at Christ the King Catholic (www.ctkcatholic.com).
