Late in the evening of October 31, 2025, Ann England Spock joined her beloved husband, Charlie, in heaven. Born on July 1, 1933, in Springfield, Tennessee, Ann spent her 92 years sharing love, laughter, and warmth with all who knew her.
Ann was raised primarily by her father, Robert, and her grandmother, Frances, later joined by her stepmother, Vela. Gifted with a natural talent for music, she began piano lessons as a child, later playing trumpet in band and cello in her high school orchestra. Her musical ability earned her a full scholarship to Austin Peay State University, which she declined to begin the family that would become her life’s greatest pride and joy.
In her 72 years with Charlie, Ann raised four sons and doted on her many grandchildren. Her kindness and generosity made the Spock home a place of warmth and welcome for all. To be loved by Ann was like feeling the sun—her love continues to warm those she left behind.
She is reunited in heaven with her husband, Charlie Spock; parents, Robert and Vela; and siblings, Robert and Joyce.
Cherishing her memory are her sisters, Jenny and Bobbie; sons, Charles Jr. (Debbie), Robert (Lisa), Richard (Lauren), and David (Theresa); grandchildren, Candi, Vanessa, Janell, and Justin; Andrew and Allison; Corey, Michael, and Shannon; and Alexander; along with 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
