Anna Geeslin

Anna Marjorie O'Neall Geeslin died November 19, 2015 at St. Vincent's Hospital, Jacksonville. Anna was born in Waynesville, Ohio, on September 19, 1914. She moved with her family to Jacksonville, Florida in the early 1930s.

In Jacksonville, she worked for many years for Southern Bell until her marriage to Dr. Lawrence E. Geeslin. Together they enjoyed extensive travel, music, reading, cooking classes, and spending time with family and friends. A consummate lady, always gracious and soft-spoken, Anna also had a keen sense of humor and a strong and determined will.

She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence and three brothers: Albert E. O'Neall, Charles F. O'Neall and Hugh T. O'Neall. She is survived by stepsons Lawrence S. Geeslin and George M. Geeslin (Barbara) and their son Bayard; a nephew John S. O'Neall (Siv); a niece Marjorie O'Neall Eubank (Joe); a great-niece Kathryn O'Neall Robinson (Charlie) and their children Tripp, Emma and Arden; a great-nephew Arden Tucker Herrin (Trista) and their sons Abijah and Phineas; and her devoted caregivers Maria and Joanne.

Anna will be interred in a private ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery.
