Anne Parliment

PARLIMENTAnne Parliment died on August 17, 2014 after a brief illness.Anne was born in Pine Island, New York on May 17, 1923. She moved to Florida in 1953. She worked at The Florida Times Union/Journal for many years. Her Hobbies were golf, bowling, bingo, and any form of gambling. She was predeceased by her parents Jan Marcyz and Brownie Hedges, her sister Genevieve, and numerous other family members.She is survived by sons Chuck (Pat) and Gary (Diane), eight grandchildren – Chris, Russ (Karena), Bradley (Nancy), Ryan, Charlie (Laura), Jenny (David), Kimmie (Ben) and John. Fifteen great grandchildren – Mackenzie, Faith, Ryder, Corbin, Wells, Leah, Joshua, Brandon, Timothy, Laura Lynn, Chloe, Fallon, Patrick, Luke, and Bridget.Her funeral will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church at 10:00 am on Saturday August 23, 2014. A reception will be held after mass in the school cafeteria.In lieu of flowers, please send contributions in her honor to St. Paul’s Riverside Catholic School, 2609 Park Street, Jacksonville, FL 32204 or Christ the King Catholic School 6822 Larkin Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32211. She will be missed but never forgotten.
