

Annette Fay Wilson, 92, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026. She was born March 2, 1934, in Milan, Georgia, to Fay and Edith Parker. Annette was known for the steady grace of a life rooted in family, home, and the simple, enduring joys that bring people together.
Annette was preceded in death by her husband, Mac, and her son, Rory (Trish). She is survived by her sons, Kenny (Anna) Wilson and Bubba (Jessica) Wilson and her daughters, Susan Kight (Kevin) and Cindy Ledford (Kenny). She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren with 3 more on the way, and 1 great-great-grandchild and 1 more on the way.
Those who knew Annette will remember the warmth of her kitchen and the welcome that awaited anyone who came through her door—because in her home, no one left unfed. She found contentment in working in her garden, and she delighted in going Red Bass fishing. Above all, she cherished cooking and the tradition of Sunday family dinners, creating a table where stories were shared, bonds were strengthened, and love was expressed in the most practical, generous ways.
Pallbearers will be Chad Kight, Jason Wilson, Brad Kight, Wade Ledford, Chase Wilson, and Clayton Ledford.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Haven Hospice Foundation in her memory.
A Funeral Service will be held at Hardage - Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207, on August 20, 2026, at 12:00 pm. A Committal Service will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207, on August 20, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
