The greatest gift is...love.
I would like to send my condolences to Ari's mother and family. And  much faith to his wife.  As I walk the hallways here in Grand Rapids Michigan I have flashbacks of the graduation. My heart aches for the family and his classmates.

During my first rotation as a 3rd year returning from my PhD, Ari reached out to me to offer support when I was freaking out.  He was a kind and caring presence at I time that I really needed it.  I saw him as someone I hope to model in my interactions with patients, families, and fellow health care providers.  I'm shocked and saddened to hear of his passing.  I'm so sorry for your loss!

I was touched by Ari's open and warm spirit at a time when I most needed it.  Ari will be missed.
