

Armallina Mary Bateh, 81, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. She was born on October 8, 1944, in West Palm Beach, Florida, to Mickel Emanuel Morakis and Julia Howard Morakis.
Armallina dedicated her life to her family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, and friend. She was married to her beloved husband, Adel Bateh, and together they built a life centered on faith, family, and hard work. Throughout her life, Armallina worked side by side with her husband in his restaurant and later with her son in his restaurant, contributing to the success of their family businesses. Her greatest joy, however, was caring for her family. She took pride in creating a warm and welcoming home, preparing meals for loved ones, and ensuring that those around her were cared for and supported. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family will be remembered by all who knew her.
Armallina was preceded in death by her husband, Adel Bateh, her son, Eddie Bateh; her daughter, Tonia Thomas; her parents, Mickel Emanuel Morakis and Julia Howard Morakis; and other beloved family members who welcomed her into eternal rest; She is survived by her son-in-law, Ken Thomas; her grandson, Brandon Adel Bateh; her daughter-in-law Nisreen Bateh, her sisters-in-law, Linda Morakis; Karimeh Bateh, Naimeh Butros, Salima Zarou, and Suad Bateh as well as many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory forever.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Armallina's life. visitation begins at 10:00 AM and Funeral service will commence at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 4th, 2026 at St. George's Antiochian Orthodox Church with procession and interment to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, with the Very Reverend Archpriest Dr. Kamal Al-Rahil officiating.
