Armethia Crenshaw

Armethia O. Crenshaw, 79, passed away August 26, 2010. She was born in Waycross, GA on August 19, 1931. She was employed by A & P as head baker for many years, and retired from Maxwell House Coffee. Taking care of her family was her passion. Armethia loved her church and was a member of the W.O.W. class there. Mrs. Crenshaw is preceded in death by her husband of 62 wonderful years, Lawrence O. Crenshaw; son, James Crenshaw and her brother, Burnswell O’Neal. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. She is survived by a loving family which includes her son, Timothy O. Crenshaw; daughter, Patricia (Wesley) Britton; brother, Robert O’Neal; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. The family will greet friends for a visitation from 5-7 pm, Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, August 30, 2010 at River City Family Church, 6800 W. 5th Street, Jacksonville, FL 32254, with Pastor Jim Gipson officiating. Interment will follow at Jacksonville Memory Gardens.
