"It was always so exciting when Uncle Terry and Aunt Loretta would visit. Uncle Terry was so handsome in his uniform!"

There are many family memories of visits with Uncle Terry in Hampton, Virginia and to Jacksonville, Florida as well.
Will keep those memories close.

I have may wonderful memories of my Uncle Terry, along with his son, Kenny, (a casualty of the Vietnam War) back in Youngstown, Ohio. There were trips to Shady Run swimming pool, movies downtown and nights spent watching him drive his stock car at the Canfield Speedway. I'm glad I got to visit with him as recently as February, 2014.

It is the soldier, not the reporter,Who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the soldier, not the poet,Who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the soldier, not the campus organizer,Who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.
It is the soldier, not the lawyer,Who has given us a right to a fair trial.
It is the soldier, like Arthur Golden, who salutes the flag,
Who serves under the flag, And whose coffin is draped by the flag.
