Arthur Herbert Nissen, 96, died on September 6, 2026. The youngest of four children Art was born and grew up in New Jersey. He served in the Air Force for four years. In 1951, he married his first wife Elizabeth and they had one daughter, Lisa. Art had a lengthy career with Cain & Bultman serving as Vice President of Operations. After Elizabeth's death he met and married, Mary and they spent a wonderful retirement life together. Art was known "as the person who knows a lot about a lot".
He will be fondly remembered for his amazing skills; working with his hands, building model cars, painting and working in etched glass.
A Funeral Service will be held at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, Fl 32207, on September 10, 2026, at 10:00 am. with interment to follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
