I didn't find out until recently that Aslynn had passed. It's been years since I've been back to Florida but I'll always remember the people I grew up with who made me who I am today.  She and her family always treated me so well and I'll never forget it. 

Aslynn was always such a happy-go-lucky type person. I don't think i ever saw her in a bad mood. Always laughing and throwing karate chops,  she constantly kept the mood light. She loved being with her family and it showed.  

When I joined the NAVY and was shipped out to Japan I would call her and write letters to see how things were back in Florida. She gave me a piece of home when I was so far away from it and that meant a lot to me.  

She was a great friend, an AWESOME mother and the world is a little less brighter without her. 







I'm so sad to hear this.  Aslynn was a beautiful full of life person.  I remember singing amazing grace with her surrounded by girls struggling as we were at the time.   this is just so devestating, her boys will miss her greatly!  She loved them so much!

Aslynn had a Contagious Vibe about her in EVERYTHING she did. She lived for her boys and Nothing else! She was a " Happy go Lucky" " Last minute" kinda girl...
Before she left us,she had been living with myself and my husband. We would BLAST the music and she'd come skipping down the hallway from her back bedroom and we would crack up laughing!! She will FOREVER be missed !!!

 Aslynn  was such a beautiful soul. She was my neighborhood on South Beach. She was always smiling and laughing. Aslynn would leave cat food out for not just the stray cats but also the possum. When she left she asked me to make sure that the possum got fed. I always thought I'd  see her again. You'll be missed Aslynn. 

She had the best smile. Back in 1999/2000, she would roll up to my house in Southchase driving a little Mazda Miata and looking like a million bucks. She made any situation a lot more fun and we loved it when she came around. I always had a little crush on her but she was a couple years younger than me and my mom told me I’d go to jail if I dated anyone younger. I always kept up with her through Facebook and after she had the baby a little while back, I was really happy for her.  I haven’t seen her in almost 20 years but this crushed me. Mr. and Mrs. Phillips and Kalind, I’m so sorry for your loss. The world will be a little less beautiful without Aslynn in it. 

I met Aslynn in High School and we became friends right away. We had our first apartment together, worked together, and did some growing up together. When I close my eyes I remember Aslynn’s curly hair, fashion,  loud music, laughter, singing voice, morning coffees, and contagious energy. Although we didn’t stay in touch when we both moved,  I’m so happy we reconnected over our babies 7 years ago and just a few weeks ago. I’m grateful for bumping into you last year and getting a chance to hug you one last time. Your life was taken way to soon my friend. Once a sister always a sister. I’ll forever miss you. My condolences to the family and may you find peace in your hearts. ❤️

My dearest condolences sent your way. We weren’t close as adults  but my childhood memories were always thought of with you. I’ve kept this photo near me and actually sits on my desk. It’s funny how much we looked alike we always thought lol. Glad we got to chat a little on social media. May you Rest In Peace my cousin. Forever loved❤️  


I know for sure we never lose the people we love, even to death.
They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make.
