MASHNIAsma Jiries Eways Mashni passed away Saturday, June 9 at the age of 80. Born in Ramallah, Palestine, Mashni has lived in Jacksonville 31 years. Prior to coming to the US, she spent most of her life as a teacher. She is pre-deceased by her husband Bishara Mashni and her daughter Rose Misleh. She is survived by a sister, Helen Eways; Children Costandi Mashni (Mickie), Rima Elias (Edward), Sami Mashney (Manal), Sawsan Dmeiri (Fayez) and George Mashni; Fifteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren as well as numerous nephews and nieces. The viewing will be held at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd, Jacksonville, FL on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 6 pm, followed immediately by a memorial service at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday June 14, 2012 at the Kingdom Hall at 7040 St. Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL. at 10 am.
