Asma was raised in a traditional Palestinian family in Jacksonville, FL. As a first-generation American, she was able to blend both cultures through her life. Her family was her priority. She loved knowing that her family members were always happy.
Asma graduated from Jean Ribault High School in 1966. For the majority of her career, she owned & ran Ann’s Sandwich Shop until she retired. Being one block from the stadium, she regularly provided lunch for players, coaches, & staff. On the weekends of the Florida/Georgia game, it was “all in” for the family. Everyone pitched in to help manage the crowds at the shop and even though she welcomed all fans, we all knew she was a Bulldog fan to the core. Asma was passionate about college and professional football and having game day celebrations at her shop was something she always looked forward to. In addition to football, Asma loved flowers and gardening. She liked bright, pretty flowers.
Over the years, Asma was a member of the Ramallah American Club of Jacksonville and St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church.
Asma is predeceased by her parents, Easa Mansour Farah and Zahia Alley Farah. She is also predeceased by her brothers, Khalil Easa Farah, Mansour Easa Farah and Farid Easa Farah and sister Bahia Ziadeh Farah.
She is survived by her Sisters-In-Law Nabiha Mansour Farah, Suad Khalil Farah and Brenda Farid Farah. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
