Beatrice Sherman

Bea is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Marvin Sherman. Children: June and Bobby Shenkman, Karen Turkat, and Bradley Sherman; and preceded in death by beloved son, Mitchell Sherman. Grandchildren Drew and Patty Shenkman, Jeffrey and Deborah Shenkman, Phillip Turkat. Great-grandson Brody Shenkman. By marriage, Ann Unitan, Rosalie Byer, Shermy and Jerry Rudderman. Cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Bea attended Landon High School and Jacksonville Business School. Bea and Marvin owned Liberty Furniture where she served as mentor to the extraordinary design team and buyer for what was one of Jacksonville's finest home furnishing operations.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 20 at 10:00 am at Hardage-Giddens Hendricks Chapel, 4115 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville, followed by interment at New Center Cemetery, 43rd and Liberty Streets.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bea's memory may be made to the Jacksonville Jewish Center or River Garden Hebrew Home.
