Bertie Lee Burton

Bertie Lee Burton, 89, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, June 19, 2011. She is survived by her son Robert W. (Cynthia) Burton, two granddaughters, Michele (Matt) Caldwell, Cathy (Pat) Cushing, 8 great-grandchildren, one sister Margaret Howell and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her husband LeRoy P. Burton, son Mitchell L. Burton, parents Dillard Henry and Mary Miriam Douglas, one sister Thelma Chase, and 2 brothers Orvis and C.H. Douglas. She was a member of Lake Shore Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 10:30 AM followed by funeral services at 11:00 AM in Lake Shore Baptist Church, 2363 Blanding Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32205 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lake Shore Baptist Church or Community Hospice of N.E.
