Mrs. Dubberly went to be with the Lord after an extended illness. She was a long-time member of Heavenly Heights Baptist Church and Stanfill Bible Study Group.
Mrs. Dubberly was known for her strong faith, love of people, her generosity, and the many gifts she sewed and personalized with embroidery for friends and family.
Mrs. Dubberly was proceeded in death by her parents William F. and Ruth Zuline (Hadwin) Dobson; her husband Vernon Dubberly; brothers Frank, John, and Ralph Dobson; and sister Alberta Bennett.
She is survived by her daughter Karen Hemmingway (Kevin) of Jacksonville; grandchildren Michelle and Michael of Jacksonville; great grandchildren Nathanial, Jeffrey, and Sarah of Jacksonville; and niece Susie Purvis (Joe) of Jacksonville.
Funeral services will held on November 13th with Pastor Joe Williams and Pastor Harold Stanfill officiating. The family will receive friends for a visitation at 1pm with a service at 2pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or charity of your choice.
