Billy Ray Owens, 66, of Jacksonville, passed away at his residence July 20, 2020. He was born in Jacksonville, FL on June 5, 1954 to parents, Henry and Louise (Plyler) Owens. He was predeceased by his wife, Janet Owens; his parents; daughter, Traci Watkins; brother, James Owens; and two beloved nephews, Eric and Chris Owens. Survivors include his daughters, Kayla Brown and Grace Owens; sons, John and Jerimiah; grandchildren, Paige, Jaci, Madison, Ryanne, Aleah and Silas: sisters, Carolyn Jones and Nancy (George) Williams; brothers, Harry (Joyce) Owens, Ernest Owens and Larry (Stacy) Owens, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Ferreira Cemetery on Starratt Rd. with Pastor Dave Malmberg officiating.
