

Bruce Weldon Belet, passed away on May 14, 2020, at the age of 62 years.
He was a native of Jacksonville, FL. In 1975 he Joined the U.S. Navy, and served 20 years, retiring in 1995 as a Master Chief Petty Officer. He served his country with honor and had been stationed or assigned to numerous Naval Sites around the world.
After serving his country, Bruce started his millwork business, which has become a very successful family business for over 20 years. Bruce was also generous in his support of his community and church through numerous donations of Millwork and construction. As a proud and faithful Parishioner of Resurrection Catholic Church his company constructed the Triptych in 2014 for the Alter, and has constructed numerous other projects for Resurrection Catholic Church and School, as well as other organizations.
He was a faithful standing member of the Knights of Columbus – Council 4727 in Jacksonville, FL., and became a 4th degree Knight in 2015. Bruce served in various roles, donated and volunteered regularly for multiple events and charities, holding the roles of Family Director, and 2 year Trustee. He was a very generous man, who supported family and friends, and looked for opportunities to help in any way.
He is survived by his wife of 44 wonderful years, Bertha (nee Fisher), his son Bruce, Jr. (Dawn), and Daughter Marie Belet-Ackerly (Anthony), 5 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson, and his Brother Stewart Belet (Mary).
