Burnel Eugene Davis passed away on March 19, 2018 to join his beloved wife, Marcella. He was born May 14, 1921 in Linn Creek Mo. He was the youngest of 5 children born to John Isaac Davis and Martha Garrison Davis.
He was loved dearly by all who knew him. He lived in the St. Louis area for most of his adult life, moving to Jacksonville Florida in 2000 at the age of 79. In his retirement years he love to fish and camp in his fifth wheel with Marcella. He was a loving husband, father and grandpa.
He is survived by his daughter Judy Farian (Bob), son Ken (Jackie), granddaughter Maureen and grandson Jason.
He will be remembered as a fisherman and grill master. If he wasn't fishing he was grilling out chicken or hamburgers. He knew if the meat was done by how ever many beers it took to drink.
Many thanks to all of the loving staff at Westminster Woods on Julington Creek who watched out for him when he was in his independent apartment for the first 9 years and then the nursing staff who cared for him while he was in the Health Care Center for the last 2 years.
We will always be grateful for having this man as our father, father-in-law, grandpa and friend.
