After returning to Jacksonville in 1987, Carol spent time teaching at the Jacksonville Jewish Center and Etz Chaim.
Carol was a member of the Jacksonville Jewish community for more than 50 years, and was active in the Temple and JJC Sisterhoods, as well as ORT. She was a proud Grandma to Donovan and Sara, and loved making wonderful holiday celebrations for them, baking special treats and doing crafts.
Carol was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Marvin, who lost his life in World War II, and her husband of 52 years, Norman. She is survived by children Michelle Branly, Lisa (Rob) Smith and Jon (Kim) Brody, and grandchildren Sara Branly and Donovan (Ryan) Evans.
