Carol Cox White

WHITE......Carol C. White, 68, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on May 5th, 2013 after losing her battle with cancer. Carol was born in Boston, Massachusetts on July 19, 1944, to Mr. and Mrs Eugene Cox. Carol was a giving person who always had a helping hand ready for anybody around her who needed it. She was well known to us for always opening her home to anyone that needed a place to go whether it was for a meal or just company on a holiday where they would have otherwise been alone. She was also well known for lending a hand at work to help her coworkers get ahead in the work place. She always found a way to balance work and still find time to be a wonderful mother and grandmother. Carol is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Cox of Lakeland, Fl, her brother, Kenneth Cox of Parkersburg, West Virginia, her children, Harvey White of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Teresa White of Jacksonville, Fl, and her 4 grandchildren, Hayley, Elizabeth, Jordan, and Holden.The memorial service will be held at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home and Crematory, 940 Cesery Blvd., Jacksonville, Fl. 32211 on Saturday May 11th, 2013 at 2:00 pm.The family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
