Carole Ann Reed

She was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and loved the University of Florida. She was an active member of the P.E.O. Chapter HA. She was also the former Vice President of the Gator Club of Jacksonville and proud member of the UF Alumni Association. Her greatest passion was FAMILY! She loved her grandchildren.......She supported the development and growth of their young lives in everything from Prom dress consultation, attending their sporting events, to swim lessons. If ever there was a new style for hair dos, skin care, or nails "meemaw" would be the first to send out a text or email about the latest deal. She participated in the "Happy Bookers" book club, Prayer groups, and experienced several life changing trips to Italy, Medugorje and North Georgia mountains.

Predeceased by mother and father, Jean and Jimmy Sauchelli, and son, Dean Reed. Survived by her husband, Rex Reed; her two sisters, Susan and Camille; brother, Jimmy; her daughters, Maria and Lynn and two sons, Michael and Steve; grandchildren, Danielle, Abigail, Megan, Nicole, Nicholas, Sarah, Carly and Michael; great grandchildren, Hayden, Sophia and Amelia.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Historic Catholic Church, 4214 Loretto Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32223. Committal Service will be held at 2 p.m. at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32218.
