Carolyn L. Hicks

Carolyn Wilkinson Hicks, 83, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 10, 2010. Carolyn was born in Jacksonville, Florida, September 24, 1927. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Kirby and Edith Lohr Wilkinson. She is survived by her loving sisters, Joanne Turner and Margaret Hack; one cousin, Malcom Hutchins. Carolyn retired after 36 years from Southern Bell. She was a faithful member of St. Johns Park Baptist Church. She was a lover of Southern Gospel Music. She was also survived by many caring and beloved friends; also her loving, caring, caregivers, Denise Wilson, Sandy McBroom and Missy Werts. A special thanks to Community Hospice. A Memorial Service will be held, Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 2:00pm, St. Johns Park Baptist Church, located on St. Johns Avenue.
