KENDRICK……..Carolyn Perry Kendrick passed away on July 14, 2014 at Community Hospice, McGraw Center. She was born on March 1, 1949 in Anniston, AL. Her adoptive parents are Martha Hinds Perry and the late Lee Griff Perry, Jr. On April 17, 1971, Carolyn married Phelan A. Kendrick. Married over 43 years, they raised 2 sons, Geoffrey Kendrick (Erin) of Winter Springs, FL, and Marc Kendrick of Jacksonville. In addition, 2 beautiful granddaughters, Abigail Taylor Kendrick and Olivia Rose Kendrick. Carolyn is survived by a brother, Lee Griff Perry III of Anniston, AL; a sister, Martha Perry Veazey (Randall) of Birmingham, AL; and she leaves many nieces and nephews, as well as many friends. The family will receive friends from 9:30 am until the start of the Funeral Service at 10:30 am on Friday, July 18th at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. Burial will follow in Jacksonville National Cemetery at 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully requests donations to the American Cancer Society.
