Catherine Pearl Green, age 96, passed away at the Hadlow Center for Caring in Jacksonville, FL on May 8, 2016. She was born in Waycross, Georgia on November 13, 1919 to Homer and Pearl Rowling. She has been a resident of the Jacksonville area most of her life where she raised her loving family.
She was a member of The Grace Bible Church for many years in Jacksonville, AARP and the San Jose Crafting Club at San Jose Baptist Church.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Walter Green Sr. and her son Walter Green Jr. Survivors include, three daughters, Kitzy Thomas (Mike) of Lake City, FL. Shelly Bellows and Rachel Rosset (Rudy) both of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by her sister Mary Alice Rowling of Jacksonville, FL , nine grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday May 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Greenlawn Cemetery 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32207 with the Rev Lewis Daniels officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn funeral Home and Cemetery.
