

Catherine Kenyon Hensley passed away peacefully on February 13, 2015 at the age of 89. She was born in Chicago, Illinois to William Kenyon and Loretta Cauley Kenyon. She moved to Tampa, Florida as a young woman where she met and married the love of her life. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Walter Hensley; two daughters, Linda Ann Hensley M.D. of Gainesville, FL and Catherine Hensley McMullen (Randy) of Tallahassee; along with a granddaughter, Michelle McMullen (Danny Kaufmann); and two great granddaughters, Isabella and Niko of Huntington, West Virginia; and a niece, Dr. Sandra Boatman of Roanoake, Virginia. She was a long time member of All Saints Episcopal Church of Jacksonville and had been active throughout the years in many church ministries. She enjoyed needlepointing and made her house a warm and loving home for her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held at one o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 4171 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville with burial to follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. Donations in Catherine's memory can be made to Haven Hospice of Orange Park or All Saints Episcopal Church Jacksonville.
