Catherine Hensley drew my name to "sponsor" me at my First Communion at All Saints, and as a gift gave me a beautiful hardback copy of Little Women, which I still have. That was over a decade ago. Since then the Hensleys have been like family to me. I will never forget Catherine's wonderful laugh or the stories she told -- she had such a sharp mind, a great sense of humor, and always encouraged me to be curious and adventurous. She will always be remembered. Love to Walter and the rest of the family.

Walter, Linda & Cathy, I am so very sorry for your loss.. Catherine  was a very special lady, truly one of a kind. Doing what ever I could to make her and Walter's life easier during the three years I worked with them was such a joy, I feel fortunate & blessed to have known and loved her.

My prayers are with Ms Hensley's family.  She was a pleasure for me to serve lunch to on a weekly basis.  She will be missed.

Walt, I feel very privileged to have known Catherine for so many years. She was always such a lovely lady with such a nourishing personality.  When I initially came to work for you at Ryder, I was just a little nervous when first meeting Catherine, but it only took a few moments for her to put me at ease and feel comfortable. Over the years since then, I have grown so very fond of her. Both of you have been a very important influence in my life, for which I will always be grateful. God Bless you. Mr Hensley, Linda and Cathy, I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs Hensley was a special person to me and always was kind and thoughtful throughout her years. Your parents always brightened my day when they came in the store to visit,chat and catch up on each other. I know how difficult this time is and know that you will find the strength to share the wonderful memories, knowledge and laughs that she gave you.

Mr. Hensley, Linda and Cathy, My prayers are with you in this time of your grief. As your mother's care giver for the past 2 1/2 years, I grew to love her and Mr. Hensley very much. Your mother was a dear woman. She will be missed very much. The Bible gives us faith and hope knowing that "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. She is in the arms of our Precious Lord. The Lord says " In my house are many mansions, if it were not so I would have told you. God richly blessed our family about twenty years ago, when our eldest daughter Gabriella was preparing for her First Communion at our then-new-to-us church, All Saints Episcopal.  The church asked families to "sponsor" candidates for First Communion by drawing names - and Walter and Catherine Hensley drew Gabriella's name.  They have been like members of the family ever since.  Catherine's intelligence, spunk, wit,
memory and contagious laugh will live on in our hearts forever.  Walter, our entire family is praying for you, Linda and Cathy.  God grant you all peace and comfort through this challenging time.
