A member of the Jacksonville Jewish Center, Celia volunteered for over 25 years with the Auxiliary at Wolfson Children’s Hospital.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 and a half years, Bernard S. Sachs; children, Carolyne Sachs Velkovich (Michael), Jerry M. Sachs (Marcia), and Edward S. Sachs (Alecia); 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; along with many other family members and friends.
Graveside Services will be held 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 27 in New Center Cemetery (located in Evergreen Cemetery at 43rd and Liberty) with Rabbi Jonathan Lubliner as Officiant.
Memorial contributions may be made to River Garden Hebrew Home or to Wolfson Children’s Hospital.
