Charles Haimowitz
May 19, 1937 - October 27, 2016
Charles Haimowitz passed away October 27th, 2016 surrounded by his family. His funeral will be held Sunday, October 30th at 3 o'clock in the "Old Center Cemetery" at Evergreen Cemetery, (Gate Five). He was a lifelong Jacksonville resident. He was an area businessman including being the proprietor of Plaza Lanes Bowling Alley and Bossen Realty. Charles was a graduate of Landon high school and a devoted fan of his Alma Mater the University of Florida.
He is survived by a devoted family that includes his wife, Ellen; son, Mark (Trudy) Haimowitz; daughter, Lori (Kirk) Halpern; grandchildren, Erica and Ben Halpern; brother, Albert (Edie) Haimes; sister, Joy Jarchower; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
