

Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Lynda; his son, Mark (Trish) of Woodstock, Georgia; his daughter, Heidi Hall (Roy) of Spotsylvania, Virginia; grandchildren, Hayden and Trevor of Woodstock, Bryce, Wade, and Mia of Spotsylvania. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Marion Hastings and brother, Walter.
Chuck was born on July 31, 1933 in Glens Falls, New York. He graduated from Landon High School and Stetson University in 1959 with a degree in Accounting. He married Lynda in 1964 in the midst of Hurricane Dora. Chuck began his 31 year career in law enforcement as a Special Agent with the FBI. He also served as a Special Agent with the U.S. Treasury Dept and Florida Dept of Law Enforcement. He was an elder in the PCA church since 1981. He had three great loves in his life: his Lord, his Family, and his Country.
A Memorial Service will be held at Christ Church, 9794 Old St. Augustine Rd. Jacksonville, FL on Friday, October 16th at 11 a.m.
