Charles Edgar Logan Jr.

Charles worked for Independent Life for 27 years as an Insurance Agent. He was a native of Jacksonville and was a graduate of the University of Florida from the class of 1962. He was very active in the Southside Christian Church where he was a member of for 69 years, served as a deacon and as an Elder. He also received an Elder Emeritus Award. He ministered to so many and was the head of the men's group for several years. He served as financial secretary as well. He also served in the Army Reserve for 5 years. He loved his church and his family, and was a great father.

Charles is survived by his wife Patricia Logan; son, Charles Logan III; sister, Linda Logan; stepdaughter, Brenda Harvey; and stepsons, Mark Harvey and John Harvey.

Family will receive friends at 9:30 am, with funeral services for Charles beginning at 10 am on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Southside Christian Church, 6755 Atlantic Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32211, and burial with military honors will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
