Unquestionably, one of the "ALL TIME" greatest people I ever knew, and I had the good fortune to grow up around. He was a mentor of mine & will be truly be missed as a person and a true pinnacle in the electrical industry. He was an idol of mine & he will be deeply missed by me. May GOD truly bless you "C" Porter and guide your wife Gloria in these coming days. Your old friend..........

Mary Alice: Sorry to read about the passing of Charles. I remember him (and you and your parents so well). Charles was in my and Lloyd's wedding back in 1949. Charles and I graduated together from Landon. Also, your parents gave the rehearsal dinner for our wedding. Lloyd passed away in 1994. We had 47 great years together.
