Charles C. Rheude

Mr. Rheude was a member of Southside Baptist Church where he and his wife worked in preschool ministry for over 25 years. He loved flowers and was an avid gardener. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1945 to 1949 in Pearl Harbor, Maui, HI and Guam; Reserves from 1950 to 1951. He loved God, family and country.

He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Emilie Mauger Rheude and his mother, Margaret Imgrund Rheude. Survivors include his daughter, Charlene Rheude Allen (Tommie L. Allen), his granddaughters Kristin Allen (Rick Dunham) and Karri Allen (Max Leaver), nieces in Florida and Virginia and extended family in Illinois.

Arrangements are under the care of Hardage-Giddens Hendricks Chapel 4115 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville Fl. 32207 (904) 346-3808. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 8 at 10:00 am at Southside Baptist Church, 1435 Atlantic Blvd., Jacksonville, Fl. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am with Rev. Ron Henson and Rev. Gary Webber officiating. Interment will follow immediately after to Oaklawn Cemetery 4801 San Jose Boulevard, Jacksonville, Fl. 32207.
