Charlie Thomas Davis Jr.

February 7, 1958November 18, 2021

Charlie Thomas Davis Jr., known as 'Tom' or 'Tommy' to his family and friends. He went to be with the Lord and to join his mom and dad on November 18th, 2021, at the age of 63. He was born and had always lived in Jacksonville.

Tom had worked in banking for 42 years. He started out with Atlantic Bank, then First Union, and then Wells Fargo. He was looking forward to retirement.

He never met a stranger and was friends to everyone. He was an avid Florida Gator fan, in fact, the truck he bought last year was Gator blue. Tom enjoyed taking his Jeep out and would go riding for hours, or sit and watch the ocean and talk to people.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Tom leaves behind two sisters Sandra Hazouri (Bobby), and Martha Rogers (Ron), one niece Christa Powell (Erik), one nephew David Rogers, and one great-nephew Luke Powell.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin, 11801 San Jose Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32223. www.hgmandarin.com (904) 288-0025.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.hgmandarin.com for the Davis family.

My deepest thoughts and prayers to Tom’s 2 sisters in this time of grief. Tom and I worked together many years at the bank. He was a great boss and friend. We shared many conversations and laughs together. He would help and do anything for people. He left this world way to soon. Go gators.

Thank you Tom for being an awesome friend for so many years. The super bowl parties, dinners and all the racing talks that we had. The fun times at Outback Crabshack and many other things. Tom you were a true friend and will be missed. Thanks for treating our girls so well. Enjoy your time with your dad until we get to hang out again. Go Gators! Jay May

Martha ,
Sandra and families,
So sorry for the loss of Tommy. He was loved by many, me especially. He was always so sweet to everyone. I am glad I got to see him and give him a hug at your dad’s service.
Please know I am thinking and praying for you all.
We will meet all of your family and all of mine too in heaven, which won’t be long.

Your longtime and forever friend,
Emily
