

Chet, a member of American Mensa, enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His hobbies included horse racing, fishing, and crabbing. He cheered for “the only three teams", the Eagles, the Phillies, and Penn State.
He will be missed by all those who loved and knew him.
Chet is survived by his loving partner of 11 years, Phyllis A. Wells; children, Lynn Hancock Chance (Michael), Donna Sanchez, Cheryl McCallum, Dawn Lund, Jim Bishop, Curtis Bishop, and Lisa Saia; sister, Joan Melody Hancock Ickler; grandchildren, Christopher Hancock, Samantha Vidrine Harris (Aaron), Charlie Vidrine, Michael Chance; one great grandchild on the way; mother of his children, Mary Hines Hancock; nephew, Mark David Fesmire (Alexis); great niece, Katelyn Grace Fesmire; along with other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Chet’s Life will be held 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2013 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
