Christy moved in next door to us. We did a lot of talking through a hole in the fence. Became friends with her and Andy. Best neighbors ever. So much fun. She didn't like bees and one would come around her all the time. Named Henry. That bee visit us now and just lingers at us. I say hello Christy. We miss her very much. Our hearts go out to Andy this day.

I had to share another memory from many years ago while working with Christy and some other great women. Wessie Rowell is in the picture I’m going to share, and she has also passed. I’m sure that she and Christy are reunited again and laughing at a lot of great memories.  It was just another day at the office, when someone noticed that we were all dressed in black and white.  This was completely by accident and not planned ahead of time.  We decided to commemorate the occasion with a photograph.  We all had a good laugh that day when  a couple of the pictures were, let’s say, not G-rated, thanks to  Wessie’s sense of humor! I can hear the two of them giggling about now in my head.  

I hired Christy to be a Customer Service Rep when she moved to Jacksonville from Odessa, TX so many years ago.  I knew within her first month, she had a work ethic that was rarely found in her generation at the time.  Christy also brought a bright smile and sweet laugh to our office. She was the youngest CSR we had at the time and Gerry, the Sr. CSR of the group, took her under her wing and became her mentor and close friend.  We all have very fond memories of Christy and her laugh will linger in my mind for the rest of my life. She loved her Grandmother, her Mom and her brother very much; Family was everything to Christy.  When Isla came along, she became an outstanding Mother.  I watched Christy grow up and mature before my eyes.  She will be missed by so many her loved working with her and were privileged enough to call her a friend.  

I am Christy's neighbor and one day I was getting in my car, with my Martial Arts uniform on, when I heard Christy calling me to come over, so I did. Apparently there was a lizard out on her porch and she was afraid of it and needed me to "git rid of it". I tried but it went behind some furniture, and I never heard whatever happened to it. That was a funny memory of Christy for me.

First of all, I would like to express my condolences to the family, and may GOD continue to strengthen you through this time. This site is only giving me 2000 words to express. I NEED MORE THAN THAT!!. I can literally write a book on Christy and I brother and sister relationship. Christy and I practically started in Jacksonville the same time, and even though she worked in admins. we crossed paths everyday, and she would start laughing and giggling she always have that special laugh that no one could ever forget! What made us so close was talking sports. Christy was a true Texas Longhorn and sometimes those conversations we had after a football weekend wasn't very pleasant we won they lost and I push her buttons a few times but it was all in fun, She would start that laugh at the end of those conversations. Christy was great at team building she put together a spring water rafting trip for her team one weekend for team building, she told me stories ladies. Christy had a passion to succeed, and even though she laughed and giggled don't get it twisted she would step up in your face if you have any problems or concerns SIS was great!! I did mention she was a true longhorn correct one day she came to work with Black and Red on Georgia colors I literally drop my coffee on the floor LOL and said what the * she said don't YOU even start, but she explained the reason why lol. I will miss my friend, my Sister I can remember so many fun times that we had. Her and Susannah sitting out on the steps eating lunch, Our drive back from training in Atlanta . That's a story I will never forget. I just don't have enough room to tell let. Christy really loved her family!!  I WILL MISS HER DEEPLY
