Christmas 2022  is passed & now the new year 2023 is here . Soon Chris ,  you will have another birthday in heaven  as you look down upon us . As  the holidays come & go , you are always remembered by your parents & Kimberly your only sibling & your grandmother who still  love ❤️ & share admiration of you , which  is always there .  I miss your knowledge of politics & your  presence for the deep concerns for families & homeless which you were always involved in . Christmas I bought a large ham as I spent it alone & brought it to the homeless men & women  in my area. ….in your honor !   This touched their hearts ♥️ just as you touched many in Washington & wherever you went .  May the Angels & our loved ones in heaven embrace you this year for your wisdom

Chris is remembered today and everyday in our hearts and prayers.. He was a wonderful friend, nephew and someone who cared about everyone at all times.. He will never be forgotten and we will always cherish the beautiful memories of Chris..His warmth, kindness and gentle spirit will be remembered forever.. It is Christmas season 2020 Chris &  you my nephew ... are missed so dearly to our Hearts.   You are the one that dresses Like  Santa  & helps out  others  to bring cheer & the love of Christ Jesus into their Home & life .  Like you I gave away alot of my things this Christmas  to share With those With nothing .  Everything you ever did In your life put a smile on a person’s face & a touch of love In their hearts because of you .  I know that  your presence is everywhere around us  & filling our hearts  With compassion  for our Families & Friends .  You  are  the gust of  breeze that makes

You are never forgotten Chris ... It’s been 2 years  now & not a day is passed  & we think of you . You are my precious  perfect nephew  but you are with Jesus now & our family in heaven , and most of all , you are still loved & we all feel deeply the loss of you , for not being with us physically but spiritually ! With you absent physically has affected all our lifes   . You are in our prayers & I thank you for all the goodness you shared . Love from my heart , aunt kathie 

Today is your birthday Chris & you are in our minds filled of memories ...I wanted you to know  .you had unselfish compassion for others ....this you did show. I was devastated to learn of this news today.   I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to speak to Chris on the phone only two days before he passed.  Chris was a loyal and true friend. 

While Chris was at Covington, he did a 6-month rotation at the Neighborhood Legal Services Program (NLSP), where we worked closely together.  Chris represented many of DC's most vulnerable residents during this time.  He saved many families from being evicted and fought for tenants who had to endure deplorable housing conditions.   Each holiday, Covington would buy all of the children of NLSP clients holiday gifts.  One holiday, Chris represented a single mother who didn't have transportation to pick up her children's gifts from the NLSP office.   Chris, not wanting her children to be without gifts on Christmas, gathered all of her gifts and personally delivered them to her apartment (Santa Clause- style).   Chris truly cared about people.   I will miss him. 

I was heartbroken to learn of Chris' passing.  Having worked closely with him during his time at Covington, I knew him to be a smart, thoughtful, and hard-working lawyer with immense potential.  He made important contributions to our client matters, but moreover was well liked and respected as a friend and colleague.  I was sorry to lose him from my case team when he left for his clerkship, although I was proud of his accomplishment.   My heartfelt condolences to family and friends -- he is mourned by his Covington family as well.

Chris was an exceptional person both professionally and musically, but what set him aside was his love of helping others.  He glowed every time he could offer a helping hand.  He went out of his way to ease other's problems.  He contributed to his community through public service, even taking a six month sabbatical from work to help the poor of Washington, D.C.  with their legal problems.  Chris always gave of himself, personally to family and friends, and globally to those around him.  He was a special soul that this world will miss dearly.  His best work awaits him! Carolyn,    I just heard about  Christopher today from my sister.       I am so very, very sorry.  Rest assured he and your family will be kept in
my nightly prayers.   May our good God cradle Christopher in his arms in Heaven and may your family be comforted.

Words can’t describe how wonderful my nephew  Christopher Paul was , how  brilliant in all the works he was publishing ; for there are many in  his many challenges for his superiors .  Life has to be stressful when you multitask being a child prodigy for this I knew of chris being around him on occasions & then sharing our talks on the phone with the distance between us ...sharing the deep love & respect from both of his parents was important . He was achieving goals to make both of his parents proud of him . Chris liked to tease me , his aunt & have that smirky grin on his face as if to analyze my expression . Full of wisdom, hard work & compassion in these changing times & little time to be a little boy again as he grew up fast .   I’ll always love you my nephew for being the best that you had to be , but most of all you were my nephew , my brother Chares (Chip) & Carolyn  Nofal’s only son , who Is now leaving an emptiness in  all our hearts .  Like a buzzing bee ; Always on the go with education & work & Not enough  chris time  & indeed I am truly sorry that you left us so soon  !.....Christopher, Paul , May the angels surround you ....as you join our family members with Jesus in heaven  .
